Black & Veatch is performing data center method of procedure (MOP) reviews for a confidential client at nine locations throughout the US. Project goals are to evaluate the existing MOPs at each data center for accuracy and completeness, recommend any improvements and complete the recommended improvements.
Each location includes assisting the client gather necessary information, desktop review, site visit, validation of existing MOPs and development of updated MOPs.
Phase One: Desktop Review
- Catalog and organize provided files
- Review all provided MOPs and develop a site visit plan to ensure all necessary components for review can be accessed during time onsite
- Begin preliminary outline of recommended updates and improvements
Phase Two: Site Visit & Validation of Existing MOPs
- Perform investigative effort/review of MOPs based on plan developed in Phase One
- Validate existing MOPs, noting inaccuracies, incomplete or missing information
- Compile site visit findings
Phase Three: Outline MOP Updates
- Summarize recommended next steps in a status report to client
Phase Four: Complete MOP Updates
- Submit completed MOPs updates to client for review
