The Pre-Qualification Process
Once your profile is as complete as possible, preferably to Level 3 detail, Black
& Veatch has enough information to begin the review process. Completion
of the registry does not automatically pre-qualify your company.
Once a specific project has identified a need for a supplier or subcontractor, the
profiles are reviewed for completeness. Any missing information is requested
from the contact person listed in your profile.
Once the profiles are deemed complete, they are electronically deployed to our review
personnel.
Review categories for Suppliers include Engineering, Quality Assurance,
Quality Control, and Finance.
Review categories for Subcontractors include Construction, Quality Control,
Quality Assurance, Safety and Finance. F&E Subcontractors are reviewed
in the same categories but will include Engineering as well.
Each review category is graded as Accepted or Rejected. All review categories
must be graded as Accepted to be pre-qualified. If Black &Veatch deems
the reason for a Rejected grade can be remedied, you will be contacted and the review
process for that category can be completed again once corrective action is taken.
