Black & Veatch Professionals Share in Technology Transfer Through Participation in 43 Sessions at WEFTEC.08

Sessions Emphasize Sustainability, Water Reclamation and Reuse, Program Management, Alternative Project Delivery and Advanced Technologies

Kansas City, Mo. (September 30, 2008) – Black & Veatch, a leading global engineering, consulting and construction company, announced today that water practice and technology leaders and other professionals from the company are participating in 43 technical sessions and workshops at the 81st Annual Water Environment Federation (WEF) Technical Exhibition and Conference in Chicago on October 18-22.

Dan McCarthy, President and CEO of Black & Veatch’s global water business, will moderate a technical session entitled “Sustainable Water Planning: The Global Perspective.” The October 20 session features an international panel of speakers assembled by Black & Veatch that will focus on ways to promote sustainable water use and management.
