We have a strong track record in acid gas removal and acid gas enrichment. Our portfolio includes more than 100 gas and liquid sweetening units and more than 60 refinery regeneration systems. We’re skilled in conventional and articulated sour water strippers and use a patented high-level ammonia processing technology.
Black & Veatch designed and constructed the first Claus sulfur recovery unit in 1953. Since then, we have led hundreds of successful Claus sulfur recovery projects worldwide. We’ve also been a vital part of more than 200 tail gas treating projects. Our oxygen enrichment expertise ranges from simple enrichment to high-level injection projects.
We use our patented MAG® simplified degassing process. In addition, we have performed as licensor and implementer of all other major degassing technologies. Our experts are also skilled at molten and solid sulfur handling.
