A Black & Veatch project to increase water system resilience for San Diego County residents has won the prestigious 2017 Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
Teams of students from eight area schools and the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization will compete on March 4 in the Division 1 Regional Rube Goldberg Machine Contest® at the Museum at Prairiefire in Overland Park.
Black & Veatch designed a new water treatment plant near Parkville, Mo., for Missouri American Water that will increase needed supplies while improving water quality. The new plant is designed to meet ongoing population growth in the Parkville region and is located in the Kansas City Metro area.
