Principal Consultant
Kiran Budhlani is a Principal Consultant in Black & Veatch’s Global Advisory Team, Asia. He brings in over 15 years of experience to infrastructure sector consulting experience across different sectors including electricity, natural gas, data centers, water, etc. He brings unique experience based on his involvement in techno-commercial assignments for all major stakeholders – Developers, Consumers, Regulators and Investors. His techno-commercial experience at Black & Veatch for over six years coupled with his prior experience in core market, regulatory and financial domains for about nine years has positioned him well to lead large multi-disciplinary teams and projects. He has exposure on projects in Asia, Middle east and Africa giving him a good understanding of issues related to infrastructure projects in these regions.
Apart from leading projects, Kiran is a subject matter expert for market, commercial, regulatory and financial aspects as well as Indian power market. Some of the key projects that he has been involved in Black & Veatch include repurposing of thermal power plants, business case/market entry strategy, PPP/project development Advisory, lenders technical advisor and feasibility studies.
