Advances in Biofilm Technology – Process Intensification Series, Webinar #2

Intensification of biological processes, made possible by advances in small-footprint biofilm technology, is opening the way to more energy-efficient operations at water resource reclamation facilities. This one-hour webinar focuses on the fundamentals, application and benefits of biofilms. This second session in Black & Veatch’s master course in process intensification covers practical considerations from the City of Hayward’s experience piloting a Membrane Aerated Biofilm Reactor (MABR) and considerations to potentially incorporate MABRs as part of its expansion plans.
