Shafali KapoorSenior Proposal Engineer, Pune, India | Oil & Gas Shafali Kapoor thrives on exceeding the expectations of her clients. Eddie Norse Jr. Project Manager, Overland Park, Kansas | Telecommunications Eddie Norse arrived at Black & Veatch with nearly 30 years of experience in telecommunications. He is excited to be managing a major broadband project for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, which will stimulate the economy and improve the quality of life for the state’s residents. Eddie credits his success to the company’s culture of creativity, empowerment and ownership. Merve Cankaya Electrical Engineer, Overland Park, Kansas | Telecommunications Originally from Istanbul, Turkey, Merve Cankaya discovered Black & Veatch during her undergraduate study in telecommunications. Today, she is especially proud of her work on an underground network monitoring project, which helps prevent transformer fires and fatal injuries. As a lover of operas, musicals and salsa dancing, Merve finds her life filled with excitement and says Black & Veatch empowers her to grow personally and professionally. Nuttapong Eiamtal Project Controls Specialist, Bangkok, Thailand | Construction & Procurement As a native of Bangkok, Nuttapong Eiamtal provides a local perspective and insight into Thai culture. He started as an Electrical Engineer and is now working on cutting-edge technology as the Project Controls Specialist at the Bang Pakong combined cycle power plant. His work provides efficient electricity production and creates more affordable prices for consumers. He cherishes opportunities to create positive change to his homeland. David Thommana Section Head, Mechanical, Mumbai, India | Water For more than a decade, David Thommana has built a career in water and wastewater for Black & Veatch. A native of India, he has developed and maintained strong relationships with local engineers, and he’s proud to see his work improve the health, safety and infrastructure of his home country.
