International Coastal Cleanup (ICC)

Working with Ocean Conservancy we remove thousands of pounds of trash from the world’s waterways.

Black & Veatch professionals and their families volunteer annually for this Ocean Conservancy event. They remove thousands of pounds of trash from the world’s waterways. Black & Veatch’s commitment to sustainability has an immediate, positive effect on the environment. In 2015, by the numbers:

  • More than 1,200 Black & Veatch professionals and family members participated.
  • Participants were from eight countries and 30 offices.
  • They collected 651 bags of trash, which totalled more than 7,000 pounds.
  • Volunteers collected trash from 35 sites.
