Thank you, KC2026 team.

For more than 100 years, Black & Veatch has built human-critical infrastructure around the world and right here in Kansas City for power, water, data and communications.

Our mission is to build a world of difference, and it all started here in our hometown.

  • A century ago when Jackson County had dirt roads, we led the development of the road system we know today, kicking-off the development of the region and its economy.

  • Since then, Black & Veatch, has built more than a third of the United States power infrastructure and continues to do so here in our region both in power, water and communications.

And as we look to the future, Black & Veatch is building the next generation of digital infrastructure.

  • Beyond helping lay Kansas City’s digital foundation with access to 5G and affordable broadband, Black & Veatch also led the development of the first hyperscale data center campus in Kansas City.

From humble roots in Kansas City, the 12,000 employee owners of Black & Veatch have built human critical infrastructure in more than 100 countries and on six continents.

Now, we are proud to support this first-of-a-kind FIFA World Cup experience right here in KC.

  • As a global sport, we believe in the power of soccer to unite communities, inspire youth and strengthen connections.

  • As a Host City Supporter, we are thrilled to support this historic moment for Kansas City on the world stage.

  • To my fellow business leaders, let’s rally with KC2026 to provide a world-class experience to guests in our hometown next summer.

KC2026 team, thank you for the great work for our city and for welcoming our employee-owners to this extraordinary event!

Now and in the future – Black & Veatch is committed to helping Kansas City businesses and people grow smarter, fuel innovation and thrive.

Thank you.
