New natural gas facility by Black & Veatch powers growing Chengdu economy

The Dazhou liquefied natural gas facility, which features Black & Veatch’s patented PRICO® refrigeration process, recently achieved full capacity operation just four days after initial start up began. Similar plants, using other refrigeration processes, can take several weeks – or even up to a year – before capacity operations are achieved.

The plant is located near the city of Chengdu and is now helping the Dazhou Huixin Energy Co. Ltd., power continued industrial growth in the region of more than 8 million people.

Transmission project will deliver reliable power to more than 500,000 PG&E customers
