We follow our Think, Plan, Act initiative to achieve Zero Injuries Today.™
Our Employee Involvement Process (EIP) approach proactively improves behaviors and actions both on-site and in our offices. We apply research-supported intervention strategies to improve behaviors and actions, as well as mitigate hazardous conditions.
In addition, our Wellness Program enables our professionals and their families to improve their health and reduce their personal health care costs.
We’re committed to work environments where safety and health are pre-planned into every task, one day at a time, with a mindset that every injury is preventable. Our goal is zero injuries, and we provide clients and our professionals with the time, equipment and training necessary to achieve it.
Working Safely, Even from Home
Staying safe and productive, even during a global pandemic, is a priority for Black & Veatch. DoneSafe, an online system deployed in 2020, enables professionals working from home to identify home-based office hazards and potential emergencies. The platform helps develop an emergency action plan and safety checklist evaluation for home offices.
