Asset management, risk assessment and financial strategy gain from Black & Veatch hires

Archard, Mayers, Price pair experience and innovation to extend company’s management consulting strength

In response to recent growth and increased market demands, Black & Veatch’s Management Consulting business announced today a series of key hires that will help propel its expansion and sharpen its focus on the growth areas of water, security and risk assessment, and asset management.

David Archard, Client Director for water; David Mayers, Managing Director of Security Risk and Resilience; and David Price, Managing Director for asset management, will strengthen Black & Veatch’s expertise, analysis and guidance to help clients tackle strategic issues.

“Our clients are accustomed to that rare combination of innovation and industry experience. These attributes are in high demand as organizations address asset management, security and resilience challenges,” said John Chevrette, President of Black & Veatch Management Consulting. “Archard, Mayers and Price each bring robust experience and deep knowledge of their markets that will extend our consultancy offerings across the water, energy and oil and gas sectors.”

Archard has 31 years in both the public and private sectors of the water industry. His experience includes responsibility for business development of consulting services for Veolia Water, and he started his career as a design engineer for Boston Water & Sewer Commission. He is an active member of Water Environment Associations in the Northeast, Water Environment Federation, and American Water Works Association. He is based in Rhode Island and will work from Black & Veatch’s offices in the Northeast U.S.

Mayers’ 26 years of experience includes stints at Accenture, Bank of America and ABB Enterprise Software, where he worked as a program manager and director of consulting services for business intelligence solutions. At Bank of America, he held the positions of Vice President and Senior Vice President of Change Management. He is based in Charlotte, N.C.

Based in Texas, Price has 25 years of diverse experience serving utility companies, major systems integration firms and software startup businesses.
