Black & Veatch Announces New Leadership in Hong Kong

Black & Veatch has announced that Andy Kwok will transition to lead the company’s Hong Kong water business operations, starting January 1, 2018. He will replace Alan Man, who will be retiring at the end of the year.

“Andy is well positioned to lead our Hong Kong office into the future, bringing invaluable project insights from Hong Kong and Mainland China. Alan, in turn, leaves behind a legacy of project innovation and talent throughout our operation, and we wish him the best in his future endeavors,” said Cindy Wallis-Lage, President of Black & Veatch’s water business.

The MWRD of Greater Chicago’s Nutrient Recovery Facility earns Top Honor from Water Environment Federation

The world’s largest nutrient recovery facility that improves water quality of the Chicago Area Waterway System while reducing downstream phosphorus discharges into the Gulf of Mexico has won a coveted Project Excellence Award from the Water Environment Federation (WEF). Construction Begins on Microgrid at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar

Water Reclamation Facility Upgrades Help Keep Chesapeake Bay Clean

Anne Arundel County leadership in Maryland recently celebrated the successful completion of upgrades to the Cox Creek Water Reclamation Facility (WRF), designed to drastically reduce pollutants in local waterways.

The facility began processing wastewater earlier this month, improving the quality of water that discharges into the Chesapeake Bay.
