Phil has built a successful 34-year career in utilities with 31 of those years in sales and business development. His early career was within utilities as an electrical engineer. He then moved into marketing, field sales and business development on behalf of utilities. Phil left Southern Company to join Advanced Metering Data Systems selling AMI technology. His utility contacts across the US are deep and wide as he has been responsible for a variety of US territories when selling various products and solutions within the utility markets. Phil has sold: OMS, DMS and ADMS systems into engineering and operations depts at utilities; Customer Engagement solutions into utility customer organizations calling on the CIO and Chief Customer Officer; and AMI by calling on the metering group’s accounting department. Phil has established contacts and customers within electric utilities as well as water and gas organizations. 

Phil’s utility operations knowledge is an asset. He holds an MBA and a BS in Electrical Engineering – both from Auburn University. Phil calls Georgia home and is located approximately 90 minutes north of Atlanta.
