Mr. Sandeep Saini is a Consultant at Black & Veatch with 10 years of industry experience. Mr. Saini has a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with an emphasis in the power sector, and has utilized his knowledge of the same on various generation, transmission and distribution analysis of projects.
Mr. Saini has successfully advised many well-established companies including KeyBank, US Bank, Enbridge, BlackRock, ATCO Electric, DE Shaw, Goldman Sachs, Capital Dynamics, AES, BC Hydro, Enel Green Power North America, Recurrent Energy, Morgan Stanley and Bank of America Merrill Lynch on various merger and acquisition (M&A) and financing activities involving well over U.S. $15 billion of transaction value in aggregate.
Mr. Saini has contributed to numerous due diligence engagements, serving in the role of technical advisor to the lender or investor for wind (over 15 GW), solar (over 10GW, including Utility scale, Commercial, Industrial and Residential), gas turbine, coal, biomass, bio-solids, transmission and distribution systems in the United States, Canada, LATAM, UK and Asia. Additionally, Mr. Saini has performed due diligence reviews to provide technical, financial, and economic analysis including contract review, financial model review, technology and balance of plant assessment, operations and maintenance review, energy production assessment, performance assessment, site audits, bankability study, project design, and failure analysis.
