Interim Chief Information Officer
Shibu Cherian is the Interim Chief Information Officer for Black & Veatch. He leads the Information Technology (IT) services team which provides the company’s global workforce with the tools and technologies needed to offer world-class solutions and services to clients. In addition, he serves as the company’s Chief Information Security Officer. Shibu has more than 20 years of global experience in Technology Management, Digital Strategy, Cybersecurity Protection and Risk Management. He has led in the areas of IT Strategy Development, IT Services, Cybersecurity Program Management, Architecture & Engineering, Cloud Enablement, Cyber Operations, M&A Risk Assessment, Product Security, and Risk Management in various industries including Critical Infrastructure, Financial & Accounting Services, Retail /eCommerce, Consulting, Healthcare, and Telecommunication. Shibu earned a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from the Dominican College of New York; and a Master's degree in Information Technology and E-commerce Management from Pace University. Currently holds Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), and had numerous Network Security certifications.
