Strengthen your clean energy funding application
Investment in clean energy technologies is on the rise thanks to the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) loan guarantee programs, but securing funding approval can be complicated and requires in-depth technical due diligence. By working with a strategic advisor and EPC partner like Black & Veatch, you’ll have access to a global enterprise of reputable engineers and practitioners that provide support across the project lifecycle.
Connecting engineering, construction and commercialization
Early involvement in planning, engineering and construction advisory services is crucial when driving first-of-a-kind technology to commercialization.
Black and Veatch has the experience and resources to keep you ahead of the curve, no matter the stage of your project - whether you need a consultant to help navigate federal funding requirements, a contractor to complete engineering due diligence, or a single-source partner to contract for FEED engineering to EPC.
How we help secure DOE Full Funding Guarantee
Black & Veatch is providing engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for the Advanced Clean Energy Storage (ACES) project in Delta, Utah - a first-of-its kind, utility-scale solution. The ACES project received funding through the DOE LPO Title XVII loan guarantee program. It will be the world’s largest industrial green hydrogen production and storage facility, converting more than 220 megawatts (MW) of renewable energy daily to 100 metric tons of green hydrogen that will be stored in two sprawling salt caverns.
